Frank Flöthmann lives and works in Berlin because living in Berlin and working in, say, San Francisco would be logistically inconvenient.

Frank wanted to be a comic artist from the age of eleven. He is best known for his books without words, most notably "Grimm's Fairy Tales Without Words" but also draws and writes comics that are often bursting with subtle wordplay and are therefore usually untranslatable.
